BIOGRAPHY
Pablo González, better known as Pablo Nemo, is the first Spaniard in history to have walked across Africa.
From 2021 to 2024, he completed WALKING AFRICA: a solo, unassisted expedition on foot that took him across 11 countries and 15,000 kilometers in over two years, from Cape Town, South Africa, to Cairo, Egypt. His journey was driven by a deep purpose—to reconnect with "The Cradle of Humankind" and the raw essence of nature.
Currently, he is dedicated to developing new projects and expeditions while writing a book about his African odyssey. He is also a sought-after speaker, regularly delivering talks, and has been featured in numerous interviews and media reports worldwide.
From his youth in La Coruña, his hometown, Pablo has been immersed in the world of art and creativity. Trained as a professional dancer from a young age, he was drawn to dance through the strong influence of Michael Jackson, who became a key inspiration throughout his career.
The sounds of Hip-hop, R&B, soul, and jazz found their way into his life, shaping his artistic journey and deeply influencing his inspiration and career. This passion led him to live in cities like Los Angeles and New York, where movement and music played a defining role in his artistic evolution.
However, beyond dance, Pablo found deep inspiration in the world of travel. An admirer of Spanish traveler Jorge Sánchez and legendary German cyclo-traveler Heinz Stücke, he was also captivated by the thrilling adventures and storytelling of Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente in El Hombre y la Tierra, as well as by the Indiana Jones films, the mysteries of ancient civilizations, and the epic tales of Plato’s Atlantis or legendary explorers like Shackleton, Amundsen, Marco Polo and Ibn Battuta.
These figures played a crucial role in shaping his passion for discovering the world and his desire to share those experiences with others.
